Ron Ananian, known as “The Car Doctor,” has been a trusted automotive mechanic since 1979. He began his radio career in 1991 on WFAS AM 1230 in White Plains, NY. In 1998, he transitioned to the WOR Radio Network, where he maintained a #1 position for 15 years. In 2012, Ron began independent syndication, landing on the Talk Media Network, where his show continues to grow, currently reaching 190 affiliates.

Throughout his career, Ron has shared his extensive knowledge on various media platforms, including appearances on ABC’s 20/20, FOX Television’s Fox and Friends, NBC New York News and Court TV. He also served as a long-time columnist for New Jersey Automotive Magazine and continues to contribute to other publications. Additionally, Ron was featured on DIY Network’s nationally syndicated program, Classic Car Restoration.

Major automotive companies, such as A-1 Cardone Industries, Mitchell Information Systems, Alldata Information Systems, Redline Diagnostics and SPX_OTC Corporation, have benefited from his technical expertise and product consultations. Ron is a certified New Jersey Emissions Inspector, an Advanced Engine Performance/L1 Emissions Inspector, and an Automotive Service Excellence-Certified Master Automobile Technician. He continues to receive ongoing training to stay current with industry advancements.

In addition to his radio show, Ron operates R\A Automotive, a family-owned repair facility in Waldwick, New Jersey, where he and his team provide quality, honest automotive services.
